ALTOONA, Pa.-- Altoona-Johnstown Diocese confirms a Somerset County priest, Martin Cingle, has been suspended as they investigate allegations concerning sex abuse of a minor dating back to 2002.
According to the Diocese, Cingle has been an ordained priest since 1973. He has served at about a dozen parishes throughout central Pennsylvania.
Most recently father Cingle served as pastor at All Saints Parish in Boswell and Saint Anne Parish in Davidsville. Read More...
WOODBURY, Pa. (WJAC) — Authorities have identified the woman killed in the fire that destroyed the Woodbury Post Office last weekend.
Bedford County Coroner Rusty Styer says 64-year-old Cynthia Louise Albright died of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.
The fire started around 6:30 p.m. on Independence Day, ripping through the post office, and apartments above, located on Main Street.
Styer says Albright was a Woodbury resident.
She was identified through DNA comparison, Styer says. Read More...
