JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Pennsylvania Highlands Community College President Walter Asonevich has resigned, according to the college’s board of trustees.
“The Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Board of Trustees has accepted Dr. Walter Asonevich's resignation as President, effective Friday, November 1, 2019. Altoona, PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Altoona Police Department say a Blair County man is behind bars after he was accused of physically and sexually assaulting a woman over the weekend.
According to the affidavit, police say the woman told officers that she and 20-year-old Aaron Foster had allegedly attended a party on Saturday night and that Foster reportedly became "upset" with her because she had "touched another man's arm. Read More...
EBENSBURG, Pa (WJAC) — Organizers with the Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority (CCCRA) announced that the 5th annual Ghost Town Trail challenge has been rescheduled for August, according to a release.
The event was originally scheduled for June 20th, but will now be held on August 22nd, organizers say.
