SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Somerset County District Attorney Molly Metzgar says two individuals were taken into custody on Thursday following a "large drug bust" on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Authorities say police conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan Altima that was traveling westbound through Jefferson Township.
Police say troopers "observed evidence of criminal activity" and conducted a search of the vehicle.
Investigators say the search led to the seizure of a backpack containing over 160 bricks of suspected heroin. Read More...
