JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Friday marked 130 years since the Great Johnstown flood of 1889 – a day that forever changed the city. To the day 130 years ago, the South Fork Dam burst after days of rainfall. With almost no warning to the people and towns in its path, 20 million tons of water estimated to have been 40 feet high and carrying the rolling force of the Niagra Falls rushed 14 miles toward the city of Johnstown, taking with it homes, horses, trains and people. Cambria County chiropractor accused of groping teen patient

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Northern Cambria say an area chiropractor is facing charges, accused of groping a 17-year-old male patient. According to the affidavit, police were contact in late April after a woman reported that her son had been sexually assaulted during a chiropractic appointment. Police say the victim accused Dr. Robine Elias of inappropriately touching him and making various sexual comments during a visit at his office, which is located in Northern Cambria Borough. Cambria County sheriff warns of scam callers posing as deputies

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — The Cambria County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a scam circulating in the area. Authorities say a person(s) is calling people pretending to be a sheriff’s deputy. They say the caller is telling people they have active warrants for their arrest or that they missed jury duty and that they must pay a certain amount of money to the caller in order to stay out of jail.
