An inmate at the Jefferson County Jail has been charged with assaulting two corrections officers. According to a probable-cause affidavit, at about 9:18 p.m. on June 4, police say 26-year-old Brandon Geer punched an officer in the head and body multiple times while being detained at the jail. He kicked another officer in the face during the altercation, according to the affidavit. The incident allegedly occurred in a room after Geer covered the security cameras with toothpaste, poured a liquid onto the floor and refused a lockdown order. Read More...
