NEW YORK (AP) — Stormy Daniels took the witness stand Tuesday at Donald Trump's hush money trial, describing for jurors a sexual encounter the porn actor says she had with him in 2006 that resulted in her being paid off to keep silent during the presidential race 10 years later.

2nd UPDATE |Pittsburgh — A suspect is dead after a shootout with seven deputies in a Pittsburgh neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
Officials say that William Hardison Sr. was pronounced dead just after 5 p.m., nearly seven hours after an intense gun battle started while deputies were serving a court ordered eviction notice.
Witnesses say they heard hundreds of gunshots.

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Convicted child abuser Jerry Sandusky is still fighting for a new court hearing.
Sandusky's latest appeal to the state Superior Court is in response to a ruling made last summer in his case, a ruling that basically sides with prosecutors, the attorney general’s office, in denying Sandusky a new hearing.
