HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — In downtown Hendersonville, Charlotte the stingray has gained international fame due to what is believed to be her parthenogenesis-induced pregnancy. Parthenogenesis is a form of reproduction where an egg develops without being fertilized by sperm. Ashville man sentenced to decades behind bars in federal child abuse case

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Federal authorities say a Cambria County man has been sentenced to decades behind bars after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a young child. Officials with the Department of Justice say 41-year-old Michael Sollenberger, of Ashville, will serve at least 36 years in prison after entering a guilty plea, last summer, to three counts, including the production and possession of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor. Cambria County Courthouse continues hearing cases through pandemic, precautions in place
