Help! Clearfield County says barking dogs are interfering with police radios

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Do you recognize these barks? That's what Clearfield County emergency authorities are asking after several dogs were heard barking over police radios at the 911 center. Authorities posted a clip of the barking to their Facebook page Tuesday morning. Officials say the dogs can be heard at different times of the day. Man convicted of murder, served 12 years based on blind witness' testimony, files lawsuits

CHICAGO (AP) — A Chicago man convicted of murder based in part on testimony from a legally blind eyewitness is suing the city and the police department. A judge convicted Darien Harris in 2014 in connection with a fatal shooting at a South Side gas station in 2011. He was 12 years into a 76-year prison sentence when he was freed in December after The Exoneration Project showed that the eyewitness had advanced glaucoma and lied about his eyesight issues. Pittsburgh Penguins open up prospect development camp

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP -- The Pittsburgh Penguins kicked off their 2018 prospect development camp today at the U.P.M.C Lemieux Sports complex in Cranberry. In all, 13 players drafted in the past three years took the ice, including all four of this year's draft class (Calen Addison, Filip Hallander, Justin Almeida, and Liam Gorman). The camp rolls through Friday and is run by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton head coach Clark Donatelli. General Manager Jim Rutherford was also on hand, and 6 Sports was there as he discussed a few roster moves that have transpired over the past few days. Read More...
