Homeowner mistakenly receives $2M worth of fentanyl pills through the mail, police say

WINSLOW, Maine (WGME) — Police say two packages that were misdelivered to a home in Winslow, Maine contained nearly 30 pounds of suspected fentanyl pills with a potential street value of up to $2 million. The Winslow Police Department says they got a report from a resident on May 3 about a misdelivered package. Indiana shooter killed after injuring 1 at Walmart

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) — A 25-year-old man opened fire at a Walmart store in Indiana where he once worked, wounding at least one person before officers fatally shot him, authorities said Friday. The gunman was identified as Ronald Ray Mosley II by Sgt. Anna Gray of the Evansville Police Department. She said Mosley had previously worked at the store in the city in southwest Indiana. Projects Johnstown officials are planning in 2024

Johnstown City Manager Ethan Imhoff said the city is planning on progressing several projects in 2024, including possibly making the decision to build a new public safety building. Imhoff said they were looking at existing buildings throughout this year to move the city’s police and fire departments to. That may no longer be the plan to replace the current building on Washington Street that is nearly 100 years old. “By the end of 2024 I would like to see completed design drawings and construction plans that we can then shop for funding sources that we can then use to construct a new public safety building,” Imhoff said.
