Employees angry over Coney Island Lunch closure, locals looking at future of downtown

JOHNSTOWN -- The iconic Coney Island Lunch restaurant in Johnstown is closed for good. And employees and the community are still in shock. Coney Island has been around for 101 years. It's a destination for out of towners and a staple for locals. But employees say they were blindsided by the news, going to bed with a job and waking up Sunday morning without one. Florida man wanted for multiple charges found hiding in a dryer

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) — Deputies in Florida arrested a 31-year-old man in Escambia County after finding him hidden inside a dryer. David Jerome Jackson had been wanted since March for charges of shooting into a dwelling, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, damage to property, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. NFL suspends Steelers' Smith-Schuster for hit on Bengals' Burfict

CINCINNATI -- Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has been suspended one game by the NFL. The suspension stems from a hit Smith-Schuster levied on Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict in the fourth quarter of the Steelers' 23-20 win Monday night. On the play, the wideout peeled back and hit Burfict on the jaw with the crown of his helmet and then stood over him. Smith-Schuster was flagged for both the hit and the taunt on the play.
