PennDOT announces reopening of more driver license centers

PennDOT announced Monday that more driver license centers in the western half of the state will be reopening for driver licensing and photo services. Seven Springs to open Friday for skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing

CHAMPION – Seven Springs Mountain Resort plans to turn Black Friday into White Friday. Friday is the day the Somerset County resort plans to open for skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. According to a news release, the arrival of consistently cold temperatures allowed for extensive snowmaking Saturday through the first part of the week. Skating club of Johnstown holds Holidayz on Ice Public Skate, Basket Raffles, & Ice Show

While many folks associate Johnstown with hockey, another smaller community also takes to the ice. One that is no less athletic but also creative and showcases a unique art form. The Skating club of Johnstown held their Holidayz Ice Show on Sunday. This show is the biggest fundraising event for the Skating Club of Johnstown and featured a basket raffle, vendors and of course a figure skating show that had skaters ranging from 3 years old to some even in their 60’s.
