Police investigating vandalism of 'Birdman' statue on Jefferson County trail

Jefferson Co., PA (WJAC) β€” Brookville Borough Police are investigating the vandalism of the "Birdman" statue located along the Redbank Valley Rails to Trails. Police say the statue is located at the intersection of the Depot and Redbank Valley Trailhead. Authorities note that the person(s) responsible also stole one of the red, wooden birds off of the statue. Biden hosts Kansas City Chiefs to celebrate Super Bowl win, minus Taylor Swift

Centre Co. Commissioners issue Declaration of Disaster Emergency due to localized flooding

CENTRE CO, Pa (WJAC) β€” The Centre County board of Commissioners issued a Declaration of Disaster Emergency Thursday afternoon as heavy rain caused localized flooding throughout the region. The Penn's Valley area was impacted by the flooding, including parts of Millheim and Coburn. Many houses were swamped as creeks crested and overflowed.
